Speculation. I don't want to evaluate value investing. Choose a few good companies from multiple listed companies that can maintain sustained growth, have high barriers to entry and core technologies, and whose stock prices can also grow together with the company. Then, your assets and stock prices can grow together. My general understanding is as follows. I don't think I can do this investment method, at least not currently. I do not possess such background knowledge. But I am very responsible to say that there is definitely someone who can do it. I met an investment expert who told me that he has only made the right decisions on 7 stocks so far. But now I can't do it, so I won't do it.
Respect the market. I have always fully respected the market, and I believe that existence is reasonable. Many people believe that the Chinese stock market is not a completely efficient market, but I think if it is truly efficient, there is no need to play because there is no opportunity to make money. And in the current market, I think it is very reasonable under the Chinese national conditions. You can complain about the unreasonable factors in this market, such as unequal information and countless insider secrets, but the ultimate reason for your complaint, or the biggest reason, is that you have not profited from this market, that's all. Since you have chosen, you must abide by the rules of the game. In this market, complaining cannot solve any problems. And what investors need to do is to think about the objective reasons for its current existence and whether it still has reasons and foundations for continued existence.
Trend. A very talented fund manager from a very impressive fund company complained that the fund size was too large to do her favorite trend investment, and she had to plan ahead. After hearing this, I was very happy because I could do it. Based on the previous two points, trends are very important. My understanding is that if a stock can maintain its long-term moving average and move against the trend, there is definitely a chance to buy it. Of course, it is based on the previous two points. The same goes for the general trend.
Time. Investment consists of three elements. You are the investment subject, stocks are the investment object, and the intermediate link is time. I believe that time is a necessary element for both value investing and speculation. Short term is exciting, but medium to long term is the real gold. Try to avoid short-term operations as much as possible.
